Your Life Is Made of Weeks.
Make Them Mean Something.

See the weeks that shaped you. The weeks that slipped away.
And the weeks still waiting to become something beautiful.

Free. No email. Nothing leaves your browser. Your map is made right here on your device.

I built this at 47. 47 rows already filled when I printed it and pinned it above my desk. It shifted something in me. I stopped sweating the small stuff. I want that for you too.

How it works

  1. Enter your name and age
  2. Your personalised life map generates in seconds
  3. Download it. Print it. Put it somewhere you will see it every day.

What is a life in weeks map?

A life in weeks map is your whole life drawn as circles on one page. One circle is one week. There are 52 circles across for the weeks in a year and 90 rows down for the years of a 90 year life. That is 4,680 circles in total. On your map, the dark circles are weeks you have already spent, a single gold circle marks the week you are living right now, and the empty circles are the weeks still yours.

Why 90 years?

90 years is a long and hopeful life, and a round number keeps the map honest and easy to read. A 90 year life is 4,680 weeks. That number feels small the first time you see it. That feeling is the point. The map is not there to scare you. It is there to wake you up.

Is it free and private?

Yes. The life map costs nothing and asks for nothing. No email, no account, no signup. Your name and age never leave your browser, because the map is generated on your own device. It downloads as an A4 PDF with your name on it, ready to print.

Where did the idea come from?

People have been drawing lives in weeks for years, and Tim Urban made the idea famous in his Wait But Why essay Your Life in Weeks. This version is built to be used, not just seen. It carries your name, it marks the exact week you are in, and the empty circles are there for you to fill in by hand, one week at a time, for the rest of your life.
