What I build, and what I founded.

This site is for the writing and the work with venue owners. Everything else I do for a living has its own site. Here is the whole list, so nothing has to be guessed.

Four ventures. One I founded, ran for eleven years and handed over. Three I run now. They all come from the same eleven years on the floor, and they are kept off the rest of this site on purpose. A vendor gets compared on price. An operator who has done it gets asked for help. I would rather you read the guides first.

Forkcast

Marketing studio · Sydney cafes and restaurants · Live, with paying clients

What it is. A marketing studio for independent Sydney cafes and restaurants. Websites built to be found, local SEO, visibility in AI search, the Google Business Profile run for you, reviews, and content shot at the venue.

Who it is for. An owner whose venue runs fine and only needs the room filled. If the leaks run deeper than marketing, the Full Plate Method on this site is the deeper fix.

EatNew

Free booking system · New and small Sydney venues · Live

What it is. A free table booking system I built myself. Your own booking page, a live run sheet for the floor, confirmations and reminders that send themselves, and win-backs for regulars who have gone quiet. Zero commission. The guest data is yours.

Who it is for. A venue opening soon, or a small one that is still on a paper diary. It stays free.

Automation Intelligence

Home of Cyan, the AI receptionist · Australian service businesses · Live

What it is. Cyan answers the calls and enquiries you miss. She texts back in seconds from the number you already have, asks what you would ask, and books the job. The chat bubble on this site is Cyan, running live as a working example, not a sales pitch.

Who it is for. Service businesses and venues that lose leads to whoever answers first.

Great Aunty Three

Vietnamese restaurant · Founded 2011 · Handed over 2022 · Now in Pyrmont

What it is. The restaurant that carries my grandmother's name and her recipes. Established in 2011, opened in Enmore in August 2012 with my mother's twenty thousand dollars. Sydney Morning Herald, Daily Telegraph, Broadsheet, SBS, Time Out. Uber Eats Australia launch partner.

Where it stands. I handed the reins to the team in 2022 and have not owned it since. In 2026 they moved from Enmore to Pyrmont, and I came back to run their marketing through the move, as their provider, not their owner. That help ends when they are settled. The full story is here.

And on this site

Two things are sold here, and both sit beside the ventures, not under them. The Full Plate Method is my 90-day work with venue owners, one client at a time, by application. The Playbook is the $27 self-serve first step of the same method. The writing, the guides and the life map are free.

If you are trying to work out which one you need: read why a restaurant can be busy and still not profitable first. Most owners find their answer in the first three paragraphs.
